We are very excited to say that Side By Side is teaming up with our long time partners at Good in the 'Hood to work better together! As of January 1st Side By Side has become a Program of Good In The 'Hood! This endeavor will help us to be a part of a larger team where we share a vision for serving young people, families, and adults in need. Side By Side brings a focus of engaging young people through the development of community youth programs that offer opportunities for participation, connections, belonging and service. Join us as we move forward in new ways side by side.

What's New in Buffalo?New community youth efforts have started in Buffalo! Side By Side partners together with area youth workers to host Buffalo Youth Together - as an outreach to local youth! Pictured above nearly 140 youth gathered for Spring Palooza!
We are excited to announce that new youth ministry efforts are starting in Buffalo. Terry Munoz has been meeting with community members to put together teams who will work provide opportunities for youth in the Buffalo Community. We are very excited about the response so far as adults are beginning to work together to plan regular activities for young people! Here's a look at what's happening and what's coming...
The Feed: a monthly activity where high School & Middle School youth gather for a free breakfast, a time of community, and an inspiring message. This is dependent on the participation of local families of HS & middle-school aged students to provide food. Youth Leadership Team: Gather a group of 10 youth to be a part of a youth board & planning team to help with outreach and development. Give young people opportunities to use their gifts and talents to serve and lead their peers in the Buffalo Community. Discover Groups: We would like to start a youth Discover Group in every neighborhood in Buffalo. We are looking for adults who we can coach to lead Discover Method bible studies and lead regular studies for youth in your neighborhood. |
