Final Information!  Posted 6/4/10! 

Remember to be at the Airport at 8:00 AM Sharp on Sunday, June 13th at the American Airlines check-in area!   
Once you arrive you will received from Side By Side:
  • Luggage Identifier Tag for group  (please make sure your name is on your bag on the outside and inside - tags are available at the AA desk).
  • Flight Ticket
  • Mission T-shirt
  • Quetzal money conversion chart
  • 2nd suitcase participants not in the Holy Family Group

We arrive back home on Sunday, June 22nd at 5:45PM.

Packing:
  • Be sure to use the packing list as your guideline for packing!  Its a good thing to review luggage size and weight requirements.
  • Don't forget to pack a role of toilet paper :)
  • Be sure to pack a pen in your carryon for the Custom forms that will need to be filled out on the plane.
  • Don't forget your passport!  You will not be able to board the plane without it.
  • Don't forget to bring $50 for spending money to be used: airport food, shopping in Guatemala.  If you have time and are able you can exchange US cash for Quetzal (Guatemala $) before you leave.
  • The home just put a request out that they could use underwear and socks, so if you have any extra room for this, the home would be blessed!
  • Bring an english to spanish dictionary if this would help you.
  • If there were supplies you said you would bring for kids camp, please do.  If you are unsure or have questions, please email me!

 

Emergency Contact Information:
We have arranged for Kris Munoz, Co-Director of Side By Side Ministries to be the emergency contact person.  She will have a binder of the participants information while we are in Guatemala.  If you need to get a hold of a family member while we are away in Guatemala, please contact Kris.  She will have contact information to reach us.  We have email and phone for contact in Guatemala.   Also, if you are an adult on this trip, you MAY bring your cell phone.  There was some confusion with this.

Student/Adult Consent (2 pages)

Code of Conduct 

Physician's Form with proof of required travel immunizations

Required Vaccinations/non-prescription medication form 

Group Travel Medical Insurance  

Notary

Adult Leader/Chaperone Responsibilities

Copy of Medical Insurance Card

Copy of Passport (passport must not expire within 6 months of travel dates).
