Servant Leadership Team (SLT)
The Servant Leadership Team consists of youth who help plan and lead retreats. They have a passion for Christ and for introducing Jesus to others through building relationships. These youth are from around Minnesota and serve first with their home church communities and have extended their service to youth attending different Side by Side retreats. To be on the Servant Leadership Team we ask youth to really commit to helping their home community and seek opportunities for growth in their home communities. These youth have a heart for service and love giving of themselves for Christ.

Download the forms to get all the info and signed up! Sign up is on a first come first serve basis. Once we receive your registration, we will confirm via email. We will take a minimum of 20 participants per retreat. Once we receive 20 registrations you will be put on a waiting list.

SLT Ministries
Kitchen Crew
Every member of the SLT will participate in helping in the kitchen through prepping and serving meals.
Pit Crew
On Castaway weekends only. Pit Crew is a special team of people who do an incredible act of service as kitchen dish staff all weekend long.
Drama Team
Students will be involved in sharing messages of faith and fun by acting in skits and short dramas.
Music Team
Do you play an instrument well? Do you have a gift of singing? Music team is for students who like to serve God through music. Extra meetings are required.
Gaming & Community Building
Help lead students in fun activities and games that promote a greater sense of community.
Outreach Team
This is for outgoing students who want to make sure that every retreat participant is welcomed. You will be involved in crazy stunts, greeting, an random acts of kindness.
Tech Team
Lights, camera, sound, and video. We are looking for students who would like to work in the production area of the ministry. No experience is necessary, we will train you.
